Thursdays with Polish Wine – Katarzyna Vineyard

Thursdays with Polish Wine

Details:

March 27 / Katarzyna Vineyard

Katarzyna Vineyard was founded in 2007. That’s when the first vines were planted in the spring, including varieties such as Bianca, Regent, Pinot Noir, Muscat Odessky, and Golubok. Over the years, plantings were supplemented with Dornfelder, Rondo, Johanniter, Pinot Gris, and Riesling varieties. Currently, about 1,800 vines grow on an area of 0.5 ha. The vineyard belongs to the Zielona Góra Wine Association, the Greater Poland Winemakers Association, and the Lubusz Wine and Honey Trail. Since January 2025, the vineyard has been owned by Poznań sommelier Jacek Kulza.
